I was to have one of my career busiest spring, summer and fall. And all but a few on-line activities were cancelled and postponed indefinitely. But I have been very grateful as I was invited to work on a virtual studio throughout this pandemic (https://www.eikootake.org/virtual-studio) . I also had courses to teach over zoom which made me meet and embrace splendid spirits. I presented on-line lectures , and participated in several public conversations with artists I deeply respect. I have been particularly grateful for the occasions I performed my solo at Greenwood Cemetery in New York City on Sep 26 and 27th. The pandemic related isolation made me appreciate live performance from a different angles and in a new depth. Thank you Art Matters for supporting my work. I will keep working. I will keep conversing and I will perform through all of these activities.
