Artist Statement
My work, which includes
both visual art and writing, emphasizes the viable conditions of life, and
seeks to show, materially, what it is to insulate, to isolate and to soak up;
what it is to bear, to accommodate and to cushion. At the root of the work (and
the forms it takes) is a particular obstinacy that hopefully allows for an
analysis of the inseparable material relations of art to life.
